SyncThru Web Service (SWS) is a web-based configuration tool built directly into the firmware of network-connected Samsung printers. For your Samsung SCX-4623FW multifunction printer, this interface allows you to completely manage, monitor, and configure the device remotely via an internet browser without installing extra software.
(Note: While Samsung developed SyncThru, the printer line is officially maintained through the HP Support Portal following HP’s acquisition of Samsung’s printer division). Key Features for the SCX-4623FW
Device Status Monitoring: Check live toner levels, paper status, page count tracking, and active errors.
Network & Wireless Settings: Since your model is wireless (“FW” suffix), you can change TCP/IP parameters, configure Wi-Fi security protocols, and adjust network configurations.
Email Notifications: Set up automated alerts to email you when the printer runs low on toner or encounters an error.
System Maintenance: Perform remote firmware upgrades and configure time/date settings. How to Access the SyncThru Web Interface
To open the interface, your printer and your computer must be connected to the exact same local network.
